COUPLING

A coupling is a mechanical element part that connects two shafts together to accurately transmit the power from the drive side to the driven side while absorbing the mounting error (misalignment), etc. of the two shafts.

HYDRAULIC HOSE

A hydraulic hose is used anywhere in a hydraulic system requiring a flexible connection between two fluid ports. A hydraulic hose is a synthetic rubber tube surrounded by some sort of flexible strength enhancing winding, such as metal or fiber, and then covered in another rubber carcass. The reinforcement windings are what give the hose its flexibility and strength, and these reinforcements can be either braided or spiral wound. Hydraulic hoses are used for two primary purposes; to allow movement between two port locations or to reduce the effects of vibration. Hydraulic hose can also be used for secondary reasons, such as for ease of installation or availability of hose manufacturing equipment.

Lubricating grease is a mixture of three main components: lubricating fluid, performance enhancing additives, and thickener. The lubricating fluid can be petroleum-derived lubricating oil, any of various synthetic lubricating fluids, or vegetable-based oil. The lubricating fluid is usually the majority component in the grease formulation. The function of grease is to remain in contact with and lubricate moving surfaces without leaking out under gravity or centrifugal action, or squeezing out under pressure.

WELDING ELECTRODES & EQUIPMENT
